Itinerary:
	7.30am - 8.00am Get collected from your Chiang Mai Hotel / Guest House in an air conditioned minibus / minivan. Drive for just over an hour.
The schedule of the day is subject to change but will always include the following ...
	40 minute elephant ride through the forest to a Palaung hilltribe village. The villagers whose elephants we use, operate on a much smaller scale than most of the other set ups in North Thailand.
	Visit a Palaung Village
	Visit an Akha Village
	Look around a Lisu hilltribe village
	Visit a small Lahu village.
	Visit a Karen village.
	Lunch at Chiang Dao Nest 2 - famed for it's high quality cuisine - variety of Thai / Northern Thai dishes. Enjoy the stunning views of the Chiang Dao Mountain.
	Explore Chiang Dao Cave with a guide.
	1 hour bamboo rafting down the Ping River (this is not whitewater rafting! It is a gentle float down this beautiful river)
	4.00pm Transfer back to your Chiang Mai Hotel / Guest House. (arrive back by 6.00pm )

Price Includes
- Transport to and from your Chiang Mai Hotel or Guest House in an air-conditioned minibus / minivan
- Transport around Chiang Dao (some of which may be in a Songthaew - Pick-up with two rows of seats in the back.)
- - English speaking, experienced, friendly, knowledgeable and officially registered guide. (maximum of 8 people per guide)
- 40 Minute elephant ride (based on two people sharing an elephant)
- 1 hour bamboo raft (based on four people sharing a raft) N.B. at the height of the dry season (March/April) if the river is not at a suitable level we may substitute the bamboo rafting with visiting another attraction.
- Thai and Northern Thai Lunch at Chiang Dao Nest 2, fine dining in a spectacular loction (please specify any special food requirements when booking, thanks)
- 20 Baht per person donation to the school next to Chiang Dao Cave (this school provides an education for the poor children from this area. They often struggle to have enough funds for a decent lunch. Many of the students are from the Lisu hilltribe villages in the surrounding mountains, whose families have literally nothing.)
- Entrance to Chiang Dao Cave
- Guide(s) with lanterns for inside the cave.
