Nestled in the Heping road lies a hotel that is just outside a park and yet near enough to the Binhai development and Tanggu district. Renovations in 2005 were extensive and the upgrade was welcomed in the rooms in particular. Internet access is now standard and the carpeting and linens are all freshened up. It is only a short two kilometers to the railway station and the airport is about 45 minutes by taxi. For recreation there is a pool room and a fitness center. There is a salon for beauty treatments or a hair cut to get ready for the next day's meetings. For imported goods the Foreign Goods Market is just a kilometer down the road.
