Originally built in 1905, this heritage building is close to all important historical sites around Agra, including the Taj Mahal. Last operated in the 1960s, the Grand Imperial has been recently renovated and reopened, offering guests a glimpse of yesteryear, albeit with a contemporary slant and all the necessary conveniences dictated by modern travel. Four-poster beds, terracotta-colored walls and lavish bedding adorn rooms, while verandahs and vintage decorations from the original hotel hark back to a grander age.
