The Chitvan Hotel Kanha National Park is conveniently located in the park which inspired Rudyard Kipling's ?Jungle Book?. The park came into existence in 1955 and is noted for its tigers and for the nearly extinct swamp deer. Bamni Dadar also known as Sunset Point is the most spectacular part of the park.
