The property was the Summer Palace of the Royal family of Balrampur since the 1880’s, and since then has been converted into a hotel. This is a fully renovated heritage property with stunning beauty and rich heritage. It was rebuilt in 1930 by a French architect and it was fashioned after a French chateau. There are lots of paths for walking and jogging and lots of games to keep one busy, including badminton and even a bit of cricket. The dining room, which is a converted billiards room serves Indian and continental cuisine. The hotel can be a cultural experience as well, with several items from the bygone era on display.
