This was converted from a fort into a boutique hotel: this place has 11 rooms for guests and is charmingly decorated with period pieces. Near the hotel are several forts and small palaces from the 18th and 19th century. The small size means staff can be more attentive to guests and their needs. One thing not to miss when staying here is the Rajasthani folk dances, camel and horse rides, the traditional sit-down dinner, but most importantly the puppet shows. They are really impressive. For a hotel as small as this it is impressive that it maintains a pool for guests. This place looks and feels exactly like a fort from a couple hundred years ago. Take camel ride before you leave, and don?t forget to shop for the bangles and silver jewelry the area is famous for.
