This palace is perched on the deep blue waters of Lake Gaibsagar and it looks exactly as it did back in the days of the raja's that built it. It is the epitome of old world princely Indian charm. Guests can visit the Old Palace, but because it is still owned by the family it can only be viewed on invitation. There are only 22 rooms and they are all interesting but they do vary a bit so it makes sense to visit a couple before making a selection. Zenana Chowk is the dining area, which guests prefer for its buffet breakfasts and dinners.
