The Grand Hotel is a New Otani Associated property and carries style and quality on par with this status. New Otani has some 20 hotels in Japan and in neighboring countries as well. There are six restaurants in the hotel, ranging from Japanese and Chinese, to French cuisine. There is a good sized fitness center and a nice shopping arcade suitable for gift buying before the next meeting. Perhaps the most remarkable aspect of this hotel is the Yamagata Grand Museum which is inside the hotel and features a hundred piece exhibit of sculpture and paintings from around the world.
