Surrounded by water, rainforests and a mountain range, this is a floating hotel, where every room floats on the water. The chalets are built from teak or eucalyptus from old barges and a decommissioned United States landing carrier provides 125 standard rooms. Other barges collected over the years are now serving as part of this unique hotel. The hotel is surrounded by fresh water lagoons, waterfalls and a private beach. Any of the nearby islands offer superb snorkeling; you can go sightseeing on a bicycle or just relax and nap at the pool. The Koh Chang Grand Lagoon Hotel has an Italian restaurant and seafood reigns supreme at the barbecue.
