Built in 1869, this Tuscan property is rich in culture and was converted into a hotel a little more than 20 years ago. The hotel is located near Fiesole, on a quiet hill just outside the heart of the city, with the main tourist spots in Florence a good walk or away. The rest of the city can be reached by cab and the hotel has a fine-dining restaurant on the premises serving a range of Italian specialties. There is a common terrace on the fourth floor and the hotel makes for a refreshing change from the hustle and bustle of central Florence.
