Originally built under order of King Alfonso VIII in 1912, this facility has been recently restored to the highest standards of luxury and convenience. The massive glass dome covering the lobby is the first thing that will dazzle visitors and the amazement will not stop there. All of the 468 rooms, which vary immensely, have been individually decorated with fine woods and carefully selected art which complement the marble bathrooms and signature Westin Heavenly Bed very nicely. The staff and the facility itself have gone to such lengths to provide service and luxury that this hotel was the recipient of the Cond? Nast Traveler's 2008 Gold List's #1 hotel in Spain award in 2008.
