A basic, yet very affordable large hotel, the Heritage Hotel offers what one would expect from a large, lower-priced hotel and also great location. It is located very close to all the available transit options in town and also a wide array of dining and drinking options. The nearby National Science and Technology Center as well as the National Zoo and Aquarium can make this trip to Canberra more exciting and perhaps even a bit educational. If price is a primary concern, it is hard to do much better than the comfortably basic Heritage while in Canberra.
