Most of our Cabins have ...
- Free wireless internet - wifi - wi-fi. It is not currently 100% reliable but we do our best. If this is important to you please mention when booking so that you can get a room close to the wireless router / antenna. (wireless works well most of the times in the restaurants of both Nest 1 and Nest 2)

**Family Cabin
- Does not include breakfast.
- 2 bedrooms and shower room / toilet
- Can sleep 3 / 4 people
- The main bedroom has 1 x big bed (sleeps 2 people)
- The second bedroom has bunk beds (2 x single beds - one on top of the other - top bunk accessed with a ladder. These beds have comfortable full length mattresses so are suitable for adults too).
- You enter the cabin via the main bedroom
- The second bedroom can only be accessed via the main bedroom (it does not have an external door).
- The toilet / shower room is accessed via the Main bedroom (this does mean that people sleeping in the second bedroom will have to walk through the main bedroom to access the toilet / shower room)
- these cabins could also be suitable for a party of 2 / 3 / 4 people wanting to be in the same building - you don't have to be a family to rent them!

*14th, 15th and 16th April 2011 is the time of the Songkran / Thai New Year Festival (famous for the water-throwing). We are only able to offer a very limited service on these dates. The restaurants at Nest 1 and Nest 2 will only be open for breakfast, and there will not be staff around should you require assistance in the afternoon and evening. We will point guests in the right direction, so that they will not go hungry! Due to the limited service, the rates are reduced for these three nights. We understand that this will not be suitable for all.

***24th, 25th and 31st December 2011 we have compulsory gala dinners on each of these nights. All guests from both Nest 1 and Nest 2 are required to sign-up for these festive events.
These parties have evolved over the years and we are confident that they are nights that most people will enjoy. They stem from the fact that we would like to celebrate anyway at this time of year. We do put a lot of effort into providing entertainment on these party nights and most people who attend really enjoy them, and find them value for money. if you are not interested in partying it may be best to look elsewhere for these nights.

- Restaurant at Nest 2 is closed every Thursday evening for dinner - Guests are welcome to dine at Nest 1 - 700 metres walk from Nest 2 (most, but not all, Thursdays in the dry season, Nov - Apr, there are barbecues at Nest 1)

- The main bedroom has 1 x big bed)

- You enter the cabin via the main bedroom
- AC - (3 x AC units, one in each bedroom and one in the living room). Air Conditioning is not essential in Chiang Dao as it is relatively cool all year particularly at night (although sometimes not in the hot season), but the daytimes are warm / hot most of the year, and the inclusion of AC gives guests option of this additional comfort if required.

Payment - We usually ask for a first night deposit paid online. For the balance, and for your bill when you are here, we can either take cash or credit card, but have to add 3% Bank Charge for payment with credit card. This can be paid on check-out.
 
What is the difference between Nest 1 & 2?

The differences between Chiang Dao Nest 1 and Chiang Dao Nest 2, ...

- Nest 1 has a small swimming pool, Nest 2 doesn't. (guests from Nest 2 are welcome to enjoy the pool at Nest 1 at no additional charge)
- Apart from different locations, very little. The rooms are pretty much identical.
- Both have stunning views.
- Nest 1 has Wicha's famous European Gourmet Restaurant serving some of the finest European / Fusion cuisine in Northern Thailand.
- Nest 2 has an excellent quality Thai restaurant. (The 2 places are about 700m apart so it is easily possible to walk from one to the other.)
