Baan Namping, Chiang Mai, Khuamung, Saraphi Excellent resort, very uniquelly designed. However, the best asset are the staff. You feel like part of the family when staying at the resort. Staff are very friendly and helpful in every way. Breakfast is excellent. |

Baan Namping, Khuamung, Saraphi The hotel is lovely but distant from downtown area. Situated on the bank of a quiet river, we could enjoy fresh air. It is suitable for people who prefer the nature. We booked a standard room but the room we got was in a better category. Breakfast and staffs were great and impressive. We were the only couple during the stay!!! So, all staffs were very attentive to us. |
Reliable and fast service! We got unbeatable rate from Sawadee. |

Baan Namping, Chiang Mai, Khuamung, Saraphi This is a beautiful place; very quiet, very serene and the ambience embodies everything of Lanna Thai culture. The service staff are very accomodating, helpful and very warm despite speaking little English. The rooms are actually gorgeous individual challets with lots of lovely green foliage lining the paths, try to go during non-raining season! The downside is the distance from the main city of Chiang Mai. It takes about 30 to 45 minutes to get to the city, costing 400 baht per trip. So a return trip will set you back about 800 baht excluding perhaps 100 baht tip. Many city cab drivers does not know of this place so have a map handy to give directions. Try to pre-arrange return transport back to the hotel as many tuk-tuks (especially the 3-wheelers) might find the long journey a challenge. Or consider renting a car if you have a minimum of 4 in your company. The hotel is in the Saraphi district, way down south away from the main city area. If Ban Tawai (handicraft / furniture) is the main purpoe of your trip, then this hotel is a good idea, it a only about 15 minutes away. Overall we love this place but the travelling cost moe than we budgetted for. |
It s pretty easy as everything is communicated via email. No problems here. |
