Purimuntra Resort and Spa, Pranburi This is a nice, but very small, 3* hotel. Great location for the beach but a very long way away from civilisation. Rooms are great but the only English TV station is HBO and the small restaurant is fine but nothing special. A place to chill out! |

Purimuntra Resort and Spa, Pranburi Beautiful, small hotel, outstandingly landscaped garden and pool area, room well equipped and maintained, right on the beach. Quiet, long beach, good for walking or running, but sea too rough for swimming during our stay. Restaurant good, nice Thai food, reasonably priced. Staff very helpful, but some do not understand nor speak English well. Bed and pillows far too firm to our liking. Spa and massage treatments very expensive, and staff not so experienced, although nice. The whole area is under development, small hotels and private holiday homes are beeing erected all along the beach. A couple of modest restaurants and a small local shop are within walking distance, for other services you have to take a taxi to Hua Hin, which takes around 30 min. A perfect place for a quiet, relaxing vacation. |
No problems experienced, worked as expected. |

Purimuntra Resort and Spa, Pranburi This was our first trip to Thailand. Having spent 4 days up in the Golden Triangle at a 5* resort, we were concerned about our choice of hotel for the remainder of our stay! A small 19 room Resort was not our usual choice. But what we found was 1.The Staff were wonderful. Very kind, courteous and could not please us enough. 2.The resort was spotless, beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. The beach was just a step away from the swimming pool. Set in a bay of about 2 KM it was a fairly clean beach which was quiet and secluded for most of our stay. 3. Easy access by taxi to the bustle of Hua Hin shopping about 1/2 hours drive. 4. Fantastic food - great choice. Would definitely recommend for both families and couples - ENJOY!! |
Very helpful, and always responded to questions promptly! |
