Am Samui Palace, Lamai wonderful place! the staff were really helpful and the pool is just perfect. only, there was some noise from the restaurant construction site (which means there is no breakfast included), but it seems that it would be over soon. |

Am Samui Palace, Lamai Hotel room was beautiful, pool was under constuction during my stay, which was a shame,but im sure will be beautiful . Staff was friendly, some more spoken english would have been helpful, no room service, fantastic location to resturants and shopping, room was very good value, had in room safe, air con, cable, and beautiful decor, i have wonderful memories of Am Samui Palace! |

Am Samui Palace, Lamai Am Samui Palace is the ideal place to stay if you want to be close to the shops restaurants and bars.The staff were very friendly and always helpfull. I would recommend this place and will definatly stay there next time I visit Samui. |

Am Samui Palace, Lamai Wonderful, almost brand new hotel with a beautiful pool and nice big rooms. Two big negatives, though; First, way too close to the main street which is party central in Lamai, with fireworks every night at midnight and pounding disco music until 3AM. Second, no phones in the rooms. The staff were wonderful. Friendly, courteous, always smiling and helpful. They helped us book rental car, fishing trips, Muay Thai tix, scuba diving and many more activities. Better service than many fancy resorts because it was personal and done with a kind smile, plus everything they booked worked out perfectly, from pickup at the airport, until we were dropped off again 7 days later. |

Am Samui Palace, Lamai This is a new hotel, open less than a year. The rooms are of a good standard for the price with efficient air conm electronic safe, good shower and the bed was slightly more comfortable (softer) than similar priced accomodation I have stayed at in Samui. The location is excellent fi you want the lamai nightlife as it is only metres form the main street, shops and bars. There is a path through to the beach which is only 100 metres away. Wireless internet worked well. Staff were efficient and reacted very quickly to a minor plumbing problem we had. Nice gardens and pleasant pool and sundeck. This is a good place to stay if you are going to eat out in the town and use the hotel as a base. It is not a resort hotel with its own dining and bar facilities. I was vary happy with the accommodation and staff and will probably stay here again in the future. |

Am Samui Palace, Lamai Will happily recommend this hotel as a great place to stay in Lamai. The accommodation is pleasant and kept clean and tidy. Staff were courteous and helpful when I needed help or advice. Although right in the centre of Lamai just off the main street (opposite the Night Plaza), i was not troubled by the noise from the nearby nightclubs and bars. Wireless Internet was available although signal strength was low in my room and non existant during rainy periods. If Internet is a must whilst you travel then would suggest getting a room near to reception. Although they do have a business centre section near the reception desk. |
