Moonhut Bungalow, Maenam Beach Great restaurant and service was like heaven. There was noise late at night from drunks and one night a dog barked constantly. Accomodations are nice for the price. Is located in a good spot for peace of mind. Locals in the town and walkable, not touristee. Internet service doesn t exist. |
Excellent service. |

Moonhut Bungalow, Maenam Beach I would like to recommend the Moonhut Bungalow for everyone who is looking for a little peace of paradise in peace!!!! I absolutely loved this place. Locaton: It is situated on a quiet and peacefull beach, Maenam Beach. It is not close to entertainment or bars or restaurants, although it is only 15 minutes with the cheap songtaews. Maenam beach is very clean and you feel like heaven there. I walked for 1 hour along the beach towards Bo Phut and I saw maximum 5 persons. VERY NICE if you are looking for relaxation. Bungalows : To my surprise the bungalows are really very clean and they are cleaned every day! I stayed in the airco room AC3 and it right on the beach ony few step from the sea. EXTRAORDINARY. And this for not much money. Overall : The kitchen is also very good and they offer a large variety of meals. Even if it is not on the menu, you can ask the cook to prepare it for you. Staff is very very friendly and always want to help. I especially enjoyed the massage on the beach!!! Conclusion : If you are looking for some good accommodation and don t want to be in the busy touristic places (Chaweng and Lamai Beach) this is THE PLACE TO BE) I can defenitely recommend it and I will also go back as soon as possible! |
Perfect in 1 word. It was easy and direct confirmation. |

Moonhut Bungalow, Maenam Beach Arrived to find they had no record of our reservation. Given Yellow House to stay in for the night which was infested with ants. Shower drain made the bathroom smell like sewage. Next night moved to garden bungalow. No fridge/tv but excellent location. Friendly staff, good food, good price. Warning: bungalows are down a long gravel driveway so make sure your taxi takes you all the way down. |

Moonhut Bungalow, Maenam Beach Just okay, I guess you get what you pay for! Great location, great beach, but we felt like we were living above a giant septic tank, we felt like we had to spend as much time away from the premises as much as possible. Better to pay 10 bucks more few doors down at the Florist, much better value for money. |
no problems, easy booking |

Moonhut Bungalow, Maenam Beach We loved Moonhut Bungalow - it was exactly what we wanted: very relaxed and down to earth, yet with everything that we needed. We stayed in beach front bungalow #1, which was a divine location. All the other guests were really friendly, and we enjoyed chatting to them at the bar each night. The food was good, the beach is lovely, the water warm & calm. Perfect if you want a relaxing holiday without crowds of people and loud restaurants & bars (you can find all of that at Chaweng Beach about 20 mins away if you want). Perfect. |
Very efficient, very easy. |

Moonhut Bungalow, Maenam Beach Stayed 3 nights here after the long flight from USA and it was ideal- nothing fancy but big enough room, hot shower, and right on the beach- I mean steps away (#1 bungalow). Awesome swimming and beachfront, unlike other parts of Samui. The food at the restaurant was excellent and was cheaper than one would expect on Samui. Location is best if you don t plan on going far and it is quiet and secluded- no clue that the Chaweng madness is near at all. Highly recommend as a quiet beautiful spot to just chill. |

Moonhut Bungalow, Maenam Beach Moon Hut Bungalows is great, a lovely spot on the beach with bar and restaurant, I d definitely recommend it if you want to chill out in one of the less touristy parts of Ko Samui. You can have a basic but comfortable bungalow for 500 baht or pay more for aircon and a sea view. Staff friendly and if you stay here you can t help but meet other people. Don t expect crystal clear waters. The sea was very clean but not the place to come for snorkelling, it is also very shallow, you can swim out 60m and still stand up. The beach around the whole bay was clean with white sand. Walking along the beach there are a number of bar/restaurants and Mae Nam has plenty more on the main road set back a bit from the beach. Most are local restaurants, one or two run by expats. Lots of interesting local shops and markets. If you want a place that s relatively undeveloped and you re not bothered about partying till 3am then Mae Nam could be the place for you, and Moon Hut Bungalows hits the spot perfectly. |
