The Island Resort & Spa, Chaweng Beach C est un bonheur de prendre le pdj au bord de la mer , avec un cadre paradisiaque. Tout le personenel a ete tres avenant. Chambre de bonne qualite, clim tele ... Petit hic, sale de bain en etat tres moyen, et prevoir anti moustiques car pas de moustiquaire. |

The Island Resort & Spa, Chaweng Beach We had a great stay at this lovely resort. Once again the service was excellent and the staff friendly and very helpful. The resort is idealy situated if you want to wander around Chaweng at night. I can not see how previous guests could comment that there is no beach or place to swim opposite the resort. We had several lovely swims right there. The pool is also an added bonus. The fact that accommodation consists of seperate bungalows, makes it very quiet and peaceful too. Unfortunately, there seems to be some pilfering - or an even bigger scam - going on amongst the restaurant and bar staff as prices on items vary from day to day and it is not due to Happy Hour . Be aware. Also, the restaurant is good for breakfast, but I would suggest you walk down to the beach, turn left, walk 50m to O.P. Bungalows and eat there. The prices combined with the miniscule portions - hence my suspicions of pilfering - at The Island Resort s Restaurant are just not worth it. Overall, we had an excellent stay. |

The Island Resort & Spa, Chaweng Beach Nice place with excellent breakfast. Stayed at rm 107 initially, window faces pathway and curtains not wide enough to cover room from people walking past. Staff was kind enough to change our rm on the third day to rm 306 that had 2 rocking chairs instead of one. Pool was not that clean. Location of hotel fantastic. |

The Island Resort & Spa, Chaweng Beach We stayed at the hotel for 12 days. Great location, helpful staff, good breakfast, clean and nice pool. The beach is very nice Great value for your money. |

The Island Resort & Spa, Chaweng Beach The receptionists were not very friendly to begin with. This is not a cheap hotel, we stayed at other hotels - same price - and got extremely good service. The room was very simple, although clean and provided a babycot - was broken and not safe though... - shower had holes in the floor. Smelly towels. Pool was lovely and the breakfast was really good. This hotel needs a massive renovation!! We didn t like it at all apart from the pool and breakfast. The beach restaurant at the hotel to the left is truly to recommand though. But if you are looking for an ok hotel, cheap, and don t care about high service this is an ok place. |

The Island Resort & Spa, Chaweng Beach me and my husband met my newmarried son with family at this hotel and we became very happy. We had asked for room beside each other and so it was. The best thing and a big surprice was the hidden door between. Our little grandchild could come to our room whenever she wanted and as a family we had two rooms. It was cleen and a soft bed, new shirts and towels every day. A quite aria with flowers, big green trees, lights in the evening and close to the pool and the see and resturant. Nice and friendly people who wellcomed our little 1,5 years old little girl who got so many kisses and hugs. It was a wunderful place och we had a wunderful time. If there is any minus it was all the missunderstodments when we ordered food because of servers who did not speek english and we got food we had not asked for.I really wisch you will found just one who could understand english well. If you love food that is very important. We had a wunderful time and have very good memories and we sure will be back. |

The Island Resort & Spa, Chaweng Beach The resort as a hole was very good. Both the SPA and house cleaning were great, and so was the beach. My only problem was that one of the male waiters in the restaurant had a swastika (the official NAZI sign)as a tattoo on his arm which made us feel a bit uncomfortable. |

The Island Resort & Spa, Chaweng Beach Stayed in a deluxe room with twin beds for 3 nights. Room was big, but old. The beds were very soft and old and we slept terrible. We tryed talking to the staff twice, but they just turned the bed around. The breafast was very good and the beach was nice. Location was great. |

The Island Resort & Spa, Chaweng Beach We had a wonderful time. Restaurant was very good with great prices. Rooms were very clean. We would absolutely stay there again in the future. Located on the beach, close to shopping, restaurants, everything. |
I was leery of paying in advance, but in was fine, check-out easy, car was there to pick us up and take us back to airport. |
