Mann Katja Susanna 2008-02-23 until 2008-02-26	Layan Beach Resort & Spa Village, Layan Beach Staff very nice and friendly but the hotel was not what we expected.When we made our booking the ad said nothing about the hotel being half finished,the beach wasn´t nice,you can hardly swim there because of the tide. No spa at all as promised on the ad. Pool bottom was sandy, the place was not kept after,we had ants in our room. The room was really nice and big, nicely decorated with flowers and had a sunken bathtub. Many stairs, broken stairs everywhere,somebody needs to change the floorboards.No information about the restaurant being open up in the hotel when it rained, and down on the beach otherwise.There should be someone sweeping the floors, also a gardener is needed, when reading the ad,it lookes like the hotel is a 3 or 4 star hotel with a great spa.:(A hotel needs to be clean and functioning properly before receiving any guests. It´s really sad because this could be a wonderful hotel when finished, with wonderful staff. But before anuone makes a booking they should be informed about the real story behind this hotel	Everything was ok with the booking but the ad had false information
Patrick Jennings 2008-02-16 until 2008-02-17	Layan Beach Resort & Spa Village, Layan Beach Unfortuanately, this hotel lacked most of the immenities promised from the website i booked it on. There was no day spa, pool or bar. This would have been ok except the location was in the middle of no where, not near restaurants or bars or massage. So, in order to get what my girlfriend and i wanted from our trip to Phuket, we had to take the hotel s taxi at a 600 baht per ride. not exactly the resort as promised. I will say that the room was really cool, with a big shower and large, glass windows showing a great view to the ocean.	My reservation was not at the reception desk when i got there, so i had to print out a copy of itinerary. pretty much overall a disappointing expereince all around at the Layan.
Malin Britse 2006-12-30 until 2006-12-31	Layan Beach Resort & Spa Village, Layan Beach We stayed at Layan Beach Resort for one night when arriving from Stockholm and one night when departing from Phuket, as we were travelling on to Koh Tao. The place is beautifully situated! A bit up the hill, but still very close to a private beach with a spa. The rooms were comfortable with a/c and the pool area was great! However, since the place was quite expensive you would expect more from the staff and the restaurant. We have never experienced such beginners who didn t know the first thing about the restaurant business! It s a shame that such a beautiful place has such terrible management! It really could be a wonderful place to stay because of the surroundings and the privacy!	Quick and easy! great job!
CARRE 2006-12-17 until 2006-12-19	Layan Beach Resort & Spa Village, Layan Beach A VERY GOOD HOTEL Calm, clean, quite, top quality spa, and beach BBQ... We recommand this hotel to everyones who want too ressource themselves :) Ce petit coin de paradis, est loin du tumulte des plages comme Patong beach. La réception s occupe de tout, le majordome est clairvoyant et les restaurants sont d une grande qualité. Le prix en vaut la chandelle!!!	the booking is really good, even if you made it from EU you fell secure :)
