Archana Mahesh Dham  2007-12-06 until 2007-12-09	Patong Merlin Hotel, Patong Beach if u look at the phuket map..u might not take it to be a good location BUT believe us...its brilliant ! The hotel s one face open in the back market street & the oder in front of the beach.For its price offered..nuthing can be better. I personally feel only HOliday INN & patong graceland & mercure were equilent to this hotel THOUGH gracelang is situated towards the end of the road..so quieter & mercure on the market lane ( not infront of the beach)...SO my hotel was the BEST. ( not prejudice). BUT WOULD LIKE TO COMMENT THAT THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE IN PATTAYA & PHUKET AS SUCH ( BOTH BEACH CITIES IDENTICAL) SO YOU CAN SAVE YOUR PLANE TICKETS BY HITTING PATTAYA. THE HOTEL STAFF WAS POLITE. THE BREAKFAST THEY SERVE (BUFFET) IS AMAZING, they daily change their menu..from live egg cooking to various juices to cookies...to 5 kinds of morning breads...to muffins...to fresh fruits...to rice..noodles..ham..bacon...WHAT NOT ?? & their PRESENTATION STYLE was superb..! ...3 pools I recommend this hotel to everybody....a very honest opnion for this price.	My sister in law tols me not to go for a internet booking as it might be a hoax sort of a stuff..BUt it wasnt so to my belief. The moment i showed them my check in voucher that i had recd thru my e-mail..theys erved me a welcome drink in some 20 secs... I was given the room in some nxt 5-7 mins. So quick. The only thing i wanna suggest sawadee is that if a person wants to change / cancel their booking they should noty charge a FULL PERIOD PENALTY. They should either cut a 25-40% or adjust the value of the bookings after a minor cut of 10%-15% in any oder holiday trip that the client wishes to take within 1 year.

Kirsten & Peter SANDONA  2007-08-08 until 2007-08-17	Patong Merlin Hotel, Patong Beach This is our 3rd visit to the hotel and we were warmly greeted by the staff many of whom remembered us. The rooms are getting a bit tired looking but are kept clean and tidy. Matttrasses are very hard. Facilities and location - fabulous. Yes, we will make another return visit next year.	Excellent sevice. No problems encountered. MAny thanks.

We also recomand your hotel to our travel agen at home. We wil come back as son as posible.	Quick and good service
Philippe  2003-12-23 until 2003-12-27	Patong Merlin Hotel, Patong Beach This hotel is a good one but very big so the service is a bit impersonal, It has a very nice garden with 3 pools. It is separated from the beach by a busy road. Unfortunately I got a room not facing the garden but the other side, that is almost face to face with the neighbouring hotel. It was not indicated on the site that this is 2 very different rooms. The price asked is Ok for the room looking the garden but certainely overpriced for the one in the back.
