About Koh Samui
Samui is one of Thailand's largest islands, with an area of 228.7
km2; and a population of 47,874 (2006) and is located in the Gulf of
Thailand, about 35km northeast of Surat Thani town (9°N, 100°E). It
is surrounded by about sixty other islands, most of which comprise
the Ang Thong National Marine Park, but also include other tourist
destinations such as
Koh Pha Ngan, Koh Tao and Koh Nang Yuan.
Its main appeal is its white beaches and warm sea, and it has
plenty to choose from. Samui also has a number of impressive
temples and offers many tourist attractions such as the Big
Buddha. The
Grandmother and Grandfather rocks, the mountain jungle in the
interior of the island,
tropical gardens, impressive waterfalls,
etc. |

SAMUI LE RÊVE is located approximately two kilometres to the South
of the intersection between roads 4169 and 4173 (there is a police
station at this crossroad). From the road 4169, you enter the road
4173, and pass the Praderm Temple on your left, then you should
notice a Buddha statue on your right. Our site is a little bit
farther after this statue, on the right side of the road (when
coming from the North). Its location is indicated on the map below.
