From Chiang Dao Nest, ride to the main road (Route 107) along the cave village road. At the main road, turn left and head north for a few kilometres; on the way you will pass the road to Ban Muang Khong from which the first route emerges. In Ban Don, turn left at the large wat (Wat Don Si Sa-at). The road rises gradually to
another village, Ban Thung Lakhon, in which there is another wat, Wat Dap Phai.
Turn left at the T-junction just after the wat, follow the road through the village and take the next left - a road which leaves the village almost immediately and crosses a river. After a few kilometres there is a road off to the right on a bend which brings you back to the cave village
