Decorated in African art and colours, Wolfkop Nature Reserve offers self-catering cottages 10 minutes’ drive from Citrusdal. Each cottage has a terrace with outdoor furniture and hammocks. All the cottages include air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and fully equipped, open-plan kitchen. Some have an outdoor private hot tub. This holiday home has two bedrooms, accommodating four guests. The bedrooms features a King-size bed and en-suite bathroom. Luxury mattresses and cotton percale bedding are common to all. The kitchen is open-plan and well equipped. The property has a children’s playground. Guests can also rent canoes on request and enjoy hiking and mountain bike trails nearby. The lounge area boasts high ceilings and deep sofas for that obligatory afternoon siesta, and an open fireplace to accompany a fine glass of plonk in winter. Double doors open to a terrace with jacuzzi, while around the back of the cottage there is a fully equipped jungle gym for the kids or perhaps for the kid in you. Each room has en-suite bathrooms, aircons in each room, an upcycled plunge pool 1.2 x 2.4 metre with decking and a jacuzzi. Restaurants and coffee shops are located 10 minutes’ drive from the cottages. Cape Town International Airport is 185 km away.
