The Harrismith Inn is located just off the N3 highway, halfway between Johannesburg and Durban, and enjoys superb views of Platberg Mountain, Free State province’s majestic “flat mountain”. The large, en suite rooms, on 2 floors, surround the swimming pool, so you are never far from a cooling splash when the temperature rises. In the evenings, you can enjoy a drink at the Harrismith Inn’s bar, a popular after-dinner meeting spot. Harrismith is a delightful town, with several handsome churches and public buildings. The Platberg is the location for the annual Berg Marathon, one of the most prestigious cross-country running events in Southern Africa. Hiking, hang gliding, pony trekking and fly fishing are some of the activities you can enjoy during your stay at the Harrismith Inn.
