Would you like to know what it's like to live as a real Cambodian? You came to the right place. Our authentic minimalist rooms have everything you need, to live like a true Cambodian. A comfortable bed, good working fan, nice cold showers to cool down, a desk, towels, and mosquito nets.
Welcome to our cozy home! In addition to the bedroom, you'll have access to a covered garden area, full of plants, cosy seats and hammocks. Here you can enjoy delicious meals, swap stories, and relax over drinks.
Our village offers a variety of local attractions that are walking distance from our doorstep, including my family rice farm, garden, and other points of interest. I'd be delighted to show you around and share the wonders of our community. Come stay with us and experience the warm hospitality of our home.
I am available to be your tour guide and transportation if you need, for a very reasonable fee. I speak English pretty well and improve with each visitor. We typically eat at a communal table, with the family and other guests. However, if you would like privacy, you have access to that in your room or in the hammocks located on the porch. My wife and two children live in a separate property nearby, but you will definitely get the pleasure to meet them!
My village is home to many farmers, who tend to rice fields and work at the local crocodile farm. Visitors can also explore the village's market and visit the nearby Angkor Wat temple, located just 15 km away. Our village pagoda is a cultural hub where monks practice prayer and meditation.
As a host, I enjoy teaching guests about traditional Khmer cuisine and offer cooking classes. For those seeking an authentic experience and a love for nature, our village is the perfect place to stay. However, if you require hot showers or more luxurious amenities, this may not be the right fit for you. Come and discover the beauty of Cambodian culture through our local community.
I have been a tuk tuk & Car minivan driver for many years and can take you anywhere you want to go in Siem Reap, and surrounding areas at a reasonable price. My tuk tuk fits 4 people comfortably and is good for travel in the local area while the minivan seats 5-13 people and is good for further excursions. Both are offered for additional, reasonable cost. I offer free airport pick up for all of my guests. Pouk village has a bus station, where busses go to Siem Raep, Battambang and Phnom Penh. And also border with Thailand (Poi Pet).
I would be honoured to pick you up at the airport for free and welcome you to Cambodia! As a local, I would love to share our traditional means of transportation with you and come in my tuk-tuk to bring you to our homestay. However, if you are travelling with more than four people and have luggage, I recommend getting a taxi or we can arrange for an additional tuk-tuk and Car to ensure your comfort.
