Xi Hotel is NOT a Designated Quarantine Hotel. According to the announcement by government on August 8, 2022, hotel quarantine for overseas arrivals will be reduced to 3 days plus 4 days of “Home Surveillance” starting from August 12, 2022, allowing inbound travellers to have restricted activities in the community but banned from entering the premises subject to "active checking” of the Vaccine Pass or joining mask-off activities such as dining at hotel restaurants. Regarding to this new policy, we welcome guests to stay at hotel during “Home Surveillance” but it is a must to strictly follow the latest government guideline as above. We also welcome guests who enter Hong Kong under “Return2hk Scheme” or “Come2hk Scheme” to stay at our hotel and they are required to present the “Green” QR code issued by HKSAR Department of Health while checking in. In response to the recent coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, we would like to reassure guests that your safety and well-being and that of our team members remains our highest priority. During this time, stringent health and safety guidelines are in implementation of which we seek your kind cooperation: • According to Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Premises) Regulation (Cap. 599F), the requirement to use the “LeaveHomeSafe” (LHS) mobile application has been extended to all premises regulated under the regulation. All visitors to our Hotel should scan our building’s LeaveHomeSafe premises QR code at the entrance and present vaccination records, or Exemption Certificates stored in their mobile phones prior to entering the building. Visitors may not enter hotel if their LeaveHomeSafe app automatically displays a Red Code in blue box; • All guests and visitors entering the premises are required to undergo body temperature check, scan the ‘LeaveHomeSafe’ app and fill in a health declaration form upon arrival; • All guests and visitors in public areas are requested to wear masks; • Guest room can accommodate up to 4 persons, while the maximum number of persons in every guest room may change subject to any updates on Prevention and Control of Disease (Prohibition on Group Gathering) Regulation implemented by the Government. In the meantime, to ensure the safety of our staff and current guests, the hotel does not accept any guest who: • Under the HK Government’s compulsory quarantine order, or who have been in close contact with anyone who is currently under this order / self-quarantine / the persons who are under exemptions mandatory quarantine / compulsory testing / “StayHomeSafe” scheme • Has visited other countries/territories in past 3 days before the arrival date and has not fulfilled the government quarantine requirement, that is to undergo compulsory quarantine in a designated quarantine hotel/place for 3 days • Addresses / premises provided or declared are currently under restriction-testing declaration (RTD) operations • A diagnosed /suspected confirmed case / identified as close contact person (Special exempted guests: medical professionals) by the Hong Kong Department of Health Guests of Hotel are advised to: • Maintain adequate social distancing not to share a room with others, not from the same household • Discourage visitors , Avoid gathering and Not to share personal items with others • Stay in the room if feeling unwell, wear a surgical mask, maintain good hand hygiene, and call the hotel operator at once for further arrangement In addition, in order to comply with the government's epidemic prevention and quarantine requirements and to effectively utilize the currently extremely limited human resources, from now on 00:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., the hotel may only have staff from the Security and Housekeeping department on duty. Our Front Office colleagues will be at your service from 7a.m. Thank you for your understanding. The hotel will continue to implement highest possible anti-pandemic and public hygiene measures to maintain the safety and health for all staff and guests. We also obtained Anti-Epidemic Hygiene Measures Certification issued by HKQAA and Certification of Disinfection by GERMAGIC™ - an antimicrobial coating to ensure a hygienic environment. ***The hotel reserves the right to reject any guest/visitor from check-in or request the guest check-out without any compensation for any false statement. ***
