- The Home Owner has lovingly curated the home with the perfect blend of old-world charm and modern-day aesthetics while keeping ‘vocal for local’ in mind. This eco-friendly homestay greets you with a cosy living room decorated with warm colours, instantly putting you in a happy mood. Gather your folks for a hearty round of gossip or bond over talks of the good old times in this home away from home.
- Further ahead is the dining area where you can relish some delicious local dishes. This elderly-friendly villa near Karjat offers unparalleled privacy with 2 lovely bedrooms that have en-suite and fully furnished bathrooms on the same floor. The wood-fired bath with copper vessels that are present in the bathrooms is a must-try for a traditional and soothing shower experience! Natural light flows in from the thatched roof. The beautiful villa has traditional walls, Mangalorean tiled roof and red traditional flooring which adapts to the season, pleasant in the summers as a respite from the heat and warm in the winters. Sustainability in its truest form, isn't it?
- Each room in this villa has a private sit-out where you can reconnect with loved ones over a hot cup of cutting chai and delicious bhajiyas. Nature is for rejuvenation and this piece of heaven filled with fauna, flora and forests is all for you. You can be relaxing, recharging or looking for inspiration, the answer to all lies here. Innumerable birds and beautiful butterflies flock to the area as the surroundings are undisturbed by mankind. Far from civilisation, a guided trek or a nature’s trail takes you to some untouched gems which are waiting to be explored.
- There is an organic farm on the 5-acre estate where permaculture is practised to ensure nutritious and flavourful fruits. Take a tour of the farms and learn more about the old-world methods of farming along with the importance of organic contents in the soil of these farms. There are 2 small hills within the premises where adventure lovers can have a hoot- be it a hike up the hills or the small seasonal waterfalls on the premises.
- Life slows down here and allows you to take a step back. Early morning meditation and yoga or evening strolls with your family in this humble estate are unmatched experiences. There is also a telescope in the villa for a blissful stargazing session under the clear skies. Guests can access all indoor and outdoor spaces except the kitchen. We have a good cook at the villa to take care of all your meal requirements so sit back and enjoy! Guests can access the kitchen for cooking baby meals for infants.

- With so much to do in and around the villa, you wouldn't want to leave! Enjoy a farm tour through the organic fields. Hike up the small hills on the property while birdwatching and soak in the panoramic view from up there. And to finish a fun-filled day, relax under the seasonal waterfalls!
- There are some untouched and unexplored waterbodies deep in nature. If ventured carefully, you would come across sceneries that would render you speechless! A perfect digital detox indeed.
- For fitness enthusiasts and trekkers, this villa is a treasure chest! Plan a day trip to Ratnadurg Fort on Mahalmirya Dongar which is a 1.5-hour invigorating trek away from the villa or visit the Hetavane dam which is a 45-minute trek away.

- We truly believe that families should bond during vacations and getaways, sans any digital devices. That’s why there are no TVs in this villa.
- The fun starts on the road because the ride up to this place is filled with stunning views of nature. While nearing the villa, the last 200meters is a village road where it is easier to navigate high ground clearance cars.
- The surroundings while stunning, are also vast. Guests should wander safely, keeping all precautions in mind. The caretaker can arrange for some guided treks and can help you explore more. It is advised not to wander in the estate post sundown.
- The farmhouse is completely enveloped in nature on all sides. Given such a location, insects are quite common post dusk.
- This villa is ideal for workations, day events, family vacations and weekend getaways.
- Additional guests above 6 people will be adjusted in the living area.
- While the villa is equipped with solar heater for bathrooms, there may be times when the water temperature could be affected due to weather conditions. In such cases, wooden-fire hot bathing water will be provided.
- This is a pet-friendly villa. Pets will be charged at an additional cost of Rs500 per pet per day. A refundable deposit may also be applied. Pets are not allowed on any of the furniture and will be restricted to the veranda area. Pet owners need to carry along food and bedding for their pets.
