Kasturi Farmstay The Kasturi Farmstay is a beautiful place for photography.You can take pictures of waterfalls, flowers and animals. There is a small river five minutes away from the farmstay.It is serene there so people enjoy the silence by listening to the chirping and singing of varieties of birds. In this region, 90% of them are farmers .They make a living by farming in their own fields. Cultivation of various fruits and vegetables is an occupation. It is surrounded by beautiful flora and fauna. Paddy, orange, cardamom, banana, maize, potato, millet,pineapple, jackfruit, avocado,kiwi, sugarcane, guava are grown in plenty.. Vegetables like mustard green, radish, potatoes, brinjal,beans,peas, cauliflower, cabbage,kinema,gundruk, sinki, spinach are grown and found in this place. It is a habitat for varieties of animals like squirrel, pheasant,dove, black deer,kalchura(Himalayan Whistling Thrush) etc. Training will also be provided to those people who are willing to and are passionate about gardening.There is 20 percentage discount for writers, lyricists, musicians where they can write poem, songs sitting in the laps of nature.
