It's a small cosy basic cottage with a very small bedroom and an attached bathroom along with a luggage room. Its in the middle of a forest. Ideal for those who are looking for a getaway from the city. The place is ideal for long walks, and to unwind from the fast pace of modern life.There is an optical fiber 100 Mbps wifi connection..There is no mobile connectivity apart from BSNL. The last 300 meters is a mud and stone road, it could get bumpy. This cottage is a part of Siderbhan Homestay Chikmangalur and is an exclusive cottage in the midst of a coffee plantation. All meals will be served at the cottage. The cottage has an attached bathroom with 24 hours hot water. Please check with me before making an instant booking so I can tell you more about the property and you can make an informed decision. You will have exclusive access to this cottage and the dining/ luggage storage room. I recommend that all luggage is kept in the store room as this will give you more space inside the room. All your meals will be served at the dining room part of the cottage. Due to the covid 19 situation, your experience is now almost contactless, meals will be delivered in containers and will be self service.. There will not be housekeeping around. Its a self check-in when you arrive. Details of the room allocated and other details will be sent prior to arrival. There will not be housekeeping services during your visit except for basic services. Meals are exclusively cooked in the nearby village by a family and sent three times a day. Extra snacks can be ordered at an extra cost and these are delivered along with the meals. the property is on the fringes of the Muthodi wildlife sanctuary and is around a 15 minute drive to the actual sanctuary. there are a couple or streams and a very small waterfall within the property which you can explore at your leisure. Guests have the option of veg or non veg meals. Chikmangalur is 250 kms from Bangalore and 150 Kms from Mangalore. my property is a 40 minute drive from Chikmangalur city with the closest landmark being Mallandur Village. The price includes all meals every day. Snacks can be ordered at an extra cost and these are delivered with the meals. Guests have an option of choosing veg/ non veg food. This property is in the middle of the forest and is not recommended for those who seek urban properties with modern facilities. There is no facility for driver accommodation at the property. There are lodges at the nearest village 5 kms away where the driver could stay
