The Rustic Home reminds us of Malgudi Days with Terracotta tiled roof and wooden ceilings, Attic loft, grandfather clock, wooden-ceilings, Antique furniture. The water is pumped from a well, it’s sweet and good on the hair. The hot water is wood fired boiler. The property reminds us of the bygone days.
The place is lush green, absolutely in the middle of Nature, one is welcomed by bird songs and pure air! There are many tiny rivulets crisscrossing the plantation where the guests can play and they can also fish at the twin lakes fed by the rivulet.
A good 15 mins lazy trek to the river through the plantation leads to the River Cauvery for a refreshing splash in the water.
The birds put up a sound show twice in a day, we can try identifying them by their sounds and could easily cross 15 different species.
Simple, clean and cozy, 2.5 bedrooms with attached washrooms and a private cottage too adjacent to the Main Building. The Attic alone can sleep 6 to 8 people. In total, we can accommodate up to 12 people and with camping tents a few more can be accommodated.
