Once you land at the airport, you can easily hire a taxi or book a private car through local services. The drive to Alankar Lodge takes about 2 to 2.5 hours, offering scenic views of the Konkan coastline and lush greenery that characterize this beautiful region of India. As you make your way, be sure to soak in the vibrant atmosphere of local villages and the serene landscape that will set the tone for your relaxing stay. For those flying into Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM) in Mumbai, the journey to Alankar Lodge is slightly longer but equally rewarding. After landing in Mumbai, you can opt for a domestic flight to Ratnagiri Airport or take a train from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus to Ratnagiri. If you choose the train option, the journey takes around 4 to 5 hours, and from Ratnagiri, you can hire a taxi to Alankar Lodge.
