Jogiwara Village is a small community around 12 mins walk from the main Dalai Lama temple. It became famous for the Illiterati cafe that used to exist till a new cafe was opened in the same location in 2023. The neighborhood is ideal for tourists, expats, travelers, people interested in Buddhism etc. Jogiwara is a peaceful village, there are numerous cafes and restaurants around and lots of options for lodging. This is the best safe location if you want peace at the same time want to stay near all major attractions. Taxis are easily available from the road. Scooty rental shop is just next to our property.
