Gem of an apartment- spacious, at 130 Sq M/1400 Sq ft - to answer to our demanding needs: accessible but private; all the amenities of home with all the pleasures of a vacation home; great views (Pool! A lush mango tree!) from the bed; great bars and restaurants and superbly-stocked supermarket a 12 min walk away. Safe gated community for peace of mind, and outside your door, all the pleasures of Goa! The apartment is a large 2BHK, and is bright, airy and spacious area with study desks and books The apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, four balconies, and is bright, airy and spacious. It's a first floor flat and both bedrooms look out onto the large, inviting swimming pool. The living area was designed to maximise a sense of openness: excellently-appointed kitchen, an island table with comfortable bar-stools for eating; bookshelf and reading niche; built-in desks to work at; and of course, a comfortable couch and chairs for lounging about in. Both bedrooms have more than adequate storage; ditto for the kitchen. We have all the regular appliances: Hot plate (gas hob -not available for short stays), refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, hand blender; washing machine. The living area has two air conditioners, both bedrooms have individual air conditioners as well. The master bedroom has satellite TV. It's never really too cold in Goa but both bathrooms have water heaters for running hot water. The shared swimming pool is large, well-maintained and right outside our door. The complex also has basic fitness equipment should you wish to exercise. Plenty of car/scooter hire and taxis all around the area May not be available physically all the time but likely to be a phone call away. One of the oldest churches in Goa, first built in the 1500s, is next door. A 10 minute walk to the beach. The apartment looks through a very old mango tree to a massive swimming pool. Gated community. 24 hour security. Beautifully maintained garden in a 2.5 acre resort. A gym with some basic equipment. 100s of restaurants and great eateries and bars 5-10 minute walk to the main street. A very quiet and peaceful location. But great access to the buzzing Main Street. Apartment has a small library and gives you a good sense of space. There's a host of sights to see if you so choose, and nothing to do if that's more your thing. Car and scooter rentals are super-cheap and easily available; ditto for taxis. Candolim is an incredible destination: modern yet cheap, friendly, fabulous. There's exceptional food, both in quality and range of cuisines; every other door is a bar; there's a wonderful mix of high and low, casual beach shack and swish bars that give it a distinct vibe. The beaches are gorgeous, there's massages and yoga, if that's your thing, and adventure sport should you enjoy that. Goa's flea markets are legendary, and the old Portuguese architecture is incredible. There's a host of sights to see if you so choose, and nothing to do if that's more your thing. Car and scooter rentals are super-cheap and easily available; ditto for taxis. Goa attracts visitors from around the world; people drawn by its unique mix of Bohemian flair and laid-back charm; its eclectic appeal to both those looking for an indulgent getaway - there's tonnes of chic hotels, bars, eateries, boutiques - bit equally, the traveller on a budget who wants the maximum bang for their buck. Frankly, there's no other place like it! At the moment we are keeping one of rear balconies (not among the pool facing ones) locked for storing away some of the household stuff. Thus guests will have access to 3 balconies. There are some very minor aesthetic issues as in any lived-in space but nothing major to impact the overall comfort and experience.
