Nirvana Homes is a 19th-Century wooden house built using “Kath Kuni” Architecture, an indigenous construction technique.
Providing a panoramic view of the Himalayas, amidst apple orchards, we're located in Village Rarta, away from the hustle & bustle, 80 km from Shimla.
The perfect getaway for nature lovers, trekkers, campers, meditation enthusiasts, or simply anyone looking for an isolated, laid-back holiday. Visit Nirvana Homes for an Authentic Himachal experience like never before.

The house is well lit and spacious with a cozy, homely vibe. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 rooms have one king bed and a sitting area, while the third room is the family room with 2 double beds and a sitting area.
We also have 4 beds in the lobby, which can also be moved to the rooms if you have an extra person or if you love star gazing you can sleep in the lobby with transparent roofs. We provide additional beddings if needed and have rooms for staff, drivers as well.

Being a pet-friendly homestay, we can also provide a dog bed, but please check with us in advance.

All our guests gave access to our lawns and farm area. You can use the lawn to enjoy your morning cup of tea with a sunrise view or have a bonfire barbeque. Our apple orchards are a treat (quite literally) for all the nature enthusiasts to take evening walks.
We also have a cozy lobby area with a swing, where you can meditate, read books or even play games together.

Nirvana Homes Is a functional farmhouse with livestock rearing and apple cultivation. You can observe and are welcome to participate in the day-to-day operations of the Orchard.

Located in a place even Maps can’t find, Nirvana Homes is in the Nawar Valley that hasn’t yet been exploited by constant tourist activity. Hike up some unexplored peaks, camp around some local streams, or simply experience untouched nature from your windowsill

Nirvana literally means a place of perfect peace and happiness like heaven’. Far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, isolate yourself from the world and truly experience Nirvana.

Architecture :

Nirvana home is one of the few remaining places with the unique “Kath Kuni” Architectural style still preserved (an indigenous construction technique prevalent in the isolated hills of Himachal).

Kath Kuni Architecture was used for better stability, to build structures that could survive Earthquakes and were weather friendly. Although a dying craft, you can witness Kath Kuni Architecture in a few century-old temples in Himachal and Nirvana Homes, of course.

The guests get the entire 3 bedroom house, the lawn, and the apple orchards to enjoy. We also have a fully functional kitchen accessible for our guests, with all essential cookware

We have an open and unobstructed view of the mountains from all sides of the house. Surrounded by our apple orchards, the nearest neighbor is about 400 meters away, giving you all the isolated private space to relax and disconnect.

Located in an isolated neighborhood, we also organize small private events and plan barbeques and bonfires. The property can also be used for photoshoots and video production. We also host resin craft and upcycling decor workshops. With fast and reliable internet connectivity, we also offer longer stays and workstation options. You can check with us for further details
