this property is perfect for your next vacation!
Terra is located on a remote hill approx 1200 mtrs above sea level, overlooking Mahu dam, and Panchgani table land.
This area is frequented by many animals such as gaurs, boars, bhekars, peacocks, monkeys, mongoose, etc and an occasional siting of a leopard in the neighbourhood every one or two years.
The space
Terra is a 4 acre resort with a hotel block divided in 3 sections.
Currently we offer independent 2, 6 bed units as well as suite rooms.
We want our guests to enjoy the comfort of a home along with service and amenities of a resort.
204 suite is situated on the first floor in the central wing.. the building being perched on a hill.. the view is more like 3rd floor. it consists of a large room with a balcony, ensuite bathroom, aircon, comfy spring mattress, 2 seater couch and work desk, intercom, smart tv, kettles and 24/7 hot water.
A large terrace (part roof, part open to sky) on the tird floor is where most guests enjoy their mornings and evenings.. with a panoramic view of the beautiful sahyadri hills, valley with mahu dam below.. our location is blessed with good wind throughout the year, on the terrace guests may need a shawl or light jacket even during summer evenings!
Guests can enjoy following activities:
horse riding, trekking, electric cycles, massage service on call, pool table, 4K home theatre, table tennis, carrom, poker, darts, board games etc.. some activities will need to be planned in advance.
Horses can be arranged for group trails rides on prior notice and availability.
Our chefs and kitchen team serve both indian, asian and continental menu options, including any special requests for children.. We have separate utensils for veg and meat preparations. As the kitchen is central and serviced, guests do not have access to kitchen as meals are constantly being prepared.
We grow as much seasonal veggies, crops as possible along with green fodder for our livestock using organic manure.
Our desi cows (gir, sahiwal, rathi breed) provide us with fresh milk, dahi, buttermilk and ghee. Our limited ghee produced is delivered to our subscribers at their doorstop every month. Feel free to come check out our ghee making process while at the farm.
Guest access
Terrace and activity room are common areas accessible to all guests.
Other things to note
Terra is a terraced property on different levels, guests will need to climb a few flights of stairs to be able to move around. Please refer to pictures for more clarity.
Electricity here is very stable apart from monsoons.. when there can be shutdowns due to tree falling etc.. Guests are welcome to use the AC as required..
Incase of power failure there's a full inverter back up for the rooms and common areas.. so all lights, fans, TV, music, internet etc will be on 24/7.. not including ACs as the weather here one rarely needs AC..
we also have a full back up (including ACs) generator which we use to top up the inverter incase of emergency..
If Guests need to run the ACs when there s no electricity and when there's only inverter back up.. fuel charge at actuals will need to be paid. (approx Rs. 1000 per hour)
For special occasions we can organise a singer, band, decor, cake and other essentials to make your trip special!

Roads to terra are newly done up apart from a small patch which is still to be completed.. ofcourse still easily pliable by all cars.. we have secured parking for 10+ cars.. Guests can also request for car pressure wash service.. we would love to pamper your car so its fresh during your journey back home!
Meal cost depends on menu selection:
Breakfast: Rs. 150 - Rs. 50
