Homfortable Loshgyani is a beautiful creation. It integrates rustic mountain charm and modern vibe with a lot of subtlety.

The cottage and its rooms have been restored to their current charm with a lot of thoughtfulness. Surrounded with a 360-degree view of dense Oak and Deodar forest, sparsely situated fields, fruit orchards and 180-degree snow-capped Himalayan view on clear sky days, sits “Homfortable Loshgyani", a 2 acre estate, majestically on a tabletop some 10 kms away from Mukteshwar.

There is a magical and mystical vibe to the estate due to its location and views. We are a family residing in a separate cottage on the same estate. Three villagers who are chefs and caretakers amongst themselves live on the same property and help us with the upkeep of the place.

Our meals are an elaborate and multi-course affair with Kumaoni, veg and non-veg meals on offer prepared by our expert and local Kumaoni chefs.

Bedrooms -

The cottage houses 4 independent rooms with attached washrooms. Each of the room has a sit out and patio to enjoy the views during the day and the starry night seemingly on ground and above in the sky at night. The rooms are large at 300 sq feet. The cottage itself is magestic and its huge white patio pillars give it a colonial vibe which is aptly coupled with traditional Kumaoni feel in its architecture. It is a unique culmination in itself.

The cottage is a beautiful integration of modern and traditional in its effort to provide sustainable living. As an example the entire cottage is painstakingly built using locally sourced stones and mud by local artisans. The structure uses mud instead of cement to bind the stones together and the process is called "mitti chinai".

The Dining

We believe meal times are private and intimate family and friends times and to enhance this experience you shall have access to our large dining and lounge, which is again a traditional stone and mud structure integrated with modern interiors.

You will have full access to the entire property and the dense forest around. Grab a chair and soak in the sun and views from any spot you desire. The layered colours and hues all around coupled with the calmness of the place are a treat to the eyes and soul alike.

You would not have access to the kitchen and utility area yourself and the staff will be there to take care of your needs. We offer laundry services at an additional charge.

Since we and our staff are living on the property, some of us are always around to answer your questions and provide you the necessary support.

The atmosphere around here is calm and peaceful while the neighbourhood is very sparsely populated with villages. The ever smiling villagers are friendly and you get a close glimpse into the Kumaoni living through them.

There are number of treking and hiking options around and you can never be spoilt for choices enough.

The laid back atmosphere encourages you to do nothing and simply sit back and enjoy amidst uninterrupted and untouched nature.

You can reach Homfortable Loshgyani by road. Your vehicle can come right into the gate of our estate where we have ample parking space.

The nearest airport is Pantnagar airport which is about 3 hours away from here by road.

The closest railway station is Kathgodam railway station which is about 2 hours away from here by road.
