Woodstock home stay is recognised by the government of India as an Incredible India home stay. It is a palatial British Bungalow with a large garden, parking and amenities. Part of the house is occupied by host and family. Our guest offering, consisting of; 3 adult bedrooms, and one children's bedroom with a bunk bed. The main bedrooms have attached toilets and dressing rooms. There is a large 400 sq ft common hall. Centrally located in a posh locality where many old British bungalows were built. The location is close to town yet remote from it tucked away from the busy parts of Ooty. There has been a guest house here since British times. Stunning holistic view of the town from the garden. Ideal for a large family outing when the whole cottage may be rented, can easily accommodate 10 adults and children. The hall cum dining area (400 sq ft) and kitchen are accessible to all. We will do our best to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. Our emphasis is on providing clean, spacious accommodation to guests. This is a heritage British Bungalow. This is one of the areas in Ooty that was settled early on, so it is full of old buildings from the British era and the old style ambience of living in a hill station can still be felt. There is a bus stand close by, but the timings can be erratic. However, both autos and cabs are freely available. For those who want a hands on experience, the Botancial garden, Charing Cross and Commercial road are all within 0.5 to 1 kilometre from the guest house. However, this being a hill station the roads are quite steep. The centre of the town, Charing Cross is less than half a kilometer away. Similarly, the world famous Botanical Garden are within easy walking distance. However, since our Home Stay is on a hill the climb can be quite stiff. Parking, which can be a problem during the season, is available for guests.
