Our accommodation is built on family land that stretches from a quiet village street to the volcanic black sands of our own private beach. Creating a serene atmosphere inspired by the surrounding countryside with comfortable bungalow accommodation and together with our traditional Balinese way of life, you can experience first hand and feel like part of the family here. For the duration of your stay here you will truly feel like a member of our family, temporarily Balinese! The property has many friendly inhabitants including the extended family, visiting friends and all the animals. There are buffalo, geese, birds, chickens, dogs etc. You can relax and explore the grounds with lush gardens created from plants collected from the jungle and fall asleep to the sounds of the nature and the rolling ocean waves. Blissful. The translation of Segara Urip is meaning Ocean Life - so relax and enjoy the unique experience away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist crowds. Our rooms, each a little unique, are built from locally sourced timber and made in the bungalow style with high ceilings and front porch. Amenities are basic, cozy and comfortable. The bed frames are solid Balinese timber with very comfortable new mattresses for a good sleep. The fan style rooms are open to the outside so do not forget some mosquito spray for the evenings. All rooms have ensuite open-air bathrooms, small desk with vanity and mirror, warbrobe with hangers, bedside table and a clothes drying rack.
