THE SPACE
Entry to the complex is through a set of large double, antique Javanese wooden gates (Gebyok) that open to a spacious, mature lawn with gardens and a 14-meter-long swimming pool. Stepping up a staircase to a colonial-feeling front terrace leads you to semi-open dining room and elegant air-conditioned living room with a back terrace—all overlooking a courtyard setting garden.
Accommodations at Asana Umalas offer a single-storey, semi-open dining and air-conditioned living room and seven air-conditioned bedrooms complete with ensuite bathrooms. The bedrooms are situated at the back of the property in a courtyard setting with a ‘relaxation bale’. Each bedroom has a safe deposit box and wifi internet. The seven air-conditioned guest bedrooms are located in two-storey separate pavilions. The semi-open dining room and air-conditioned living room is simply decorated with Javanese colonial antiques and modern furniture. Modern equipped kitchen and staff service area is adjacent to the dining and living rooms. The large garden is shaded by beautiful mature trees and landscaped with a terraced lawn.
