Kontiki Villa

 

 

 

 

The name of the villa is inspired by the traveler Thor Heyerdahl who has crossed the pacific ocean on a wooden raft called Kon-Tiki. The God of sun is also reffered to as Kon-Tiki.
This Unique villa that is made out of shipping containers is located in a quiet area in the middle of rice fields where you can also enjoy the ocean view.
The reason why we have decide to build from shipping containers is because of its unique idea, minimalistic design and also it’s safe for the environment.We wanted to create something special, something new to the people that decides to stay with us.
Since we are located closer to the volcano, there is a possibility of the water having a sulfa smell to it. It is very healthy and good for your body, but if the smell would be uncomfortable for you, we have filters attached to the source, so it can be easily fixed.

We wanted to make sure that this villa has lots of space to offer. It is a two floor villa yet there are only 2 bedrooms. At the top floor you can find one the bedrooms with its large space that also include an additional sofa and a private bathroom. From this bedroom you can enjoy the rice fields and the ocean view.
On the left side of the garden you will find the second bedroom that Also include its private bathroom. Both bedrooms are provided with air conditioning.
Our garden has its own large swimming pool, outside shower, and two sofas located by the pool.
Our living room is an open space where you also have the kitchen and dining room.
We wanted to make sure that our kitchen is also well equipped which means you will also find there a large coffee machine, barbeque grill, water dispenser and a fridge which has its ice machine.
