Situated in an artsy district of Mas, Ubud, our 5 bedroom villa is bordered by a lush tropical forest. There is a lovely wooden Finnish-inspired Sauna, with a capacity of 14 people. You and your family or friends can connect and spend time together in the hot sauna and occasionally jump into the cold-water swimming pool in between each sauna session. Steam, cool, repeat! Sauna has a healthy and positive effect as it connects you with nature. Throwing water on a pile of stones increases the sauna’s humidity by creating steam or löyly. Our sauna room is an honest wooden space. The sauna will be heated every day and is included in the price. Next to the sauna are two massage beds facing the jungle. The breeze in the garden treatment room and a variety of massage treatments awaken all the senses and soothe the body and mind. You can take a walk afterward in the forest next to the villa or sit back on the sunbeds under the straw umbrellas. Besides the sauna and a massage room, each of our bedrooms has air-conditioning, a TV, an en-suite shower room, and a desk. The bedroom is cozy, providing a haven after your exploration at nearby waterfalls. The living room features an elegant turquoise velvet sofa. Our kitchen is fully equipped including an oven, a two-door fridge, a Moka pot, pots, pans, kitchen utensils. You and your friends/family are invited to whip up a memorable meal together on the kitchen island. You may serve your meals on the warm-toned long dining table which sits 10 people. It is the heart center of the warm family gathering. Otherwise, if you fancy a more gourmet lunch or dinner, a private chef from our trusted partner (at extra cost) can come to the villa and serve sophisticated dishes - from vegan meals, BBQ, to classic Balinese dishes. Please let us know a day in advance. A breakfast, lunch, dinner, and kids menu are available and will be delivered to the villa at extra cost. A highly trained butler and a villa manager will also be available to tend to your every need. Our villa is kids-friendly as a section of the swimming pool has a shallow depth especially created to accommodate young children. A baby cot and baby chairs are also available at your request. The spacious outdoor deck allows kids to run around and is also a perfect venue if you plan to hold a birthday celebration at our villa. Mas is home to the largest number of wood carving artists per capita in Bali, specializing in hand-carved Topeng or Balinese Face Mask. Mas is a walkable neighborhood, with access to a rice field trail, fine-dining restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. Prominent creative spaces, such as Titik Dua Contemporary Art Gallery, TONYRAKA Art Lounge and I Wayan Muka Mask Gallery are just a few minutes from this sauna retreat. For those who love nature, you can explore the neighborhood waterfall called Sumampan Waterfall. This secret waterfall is filled with rocks that resemble faces, hand-carved by local creative minds. Famous Tegenungan Waterfall and Tegalalang Rice Terrace are also short-drive away. Come check us out! **During Covid-19 we take extra care to disinfect all our surfaces. All towels and bedlinens are washed on high temperature. Our staffs wear masks and hand sanitizer is available. We commit to vigorously following the agoda Guidelines regarding the cleaning protocol**. === FAQs - Q: What time is the Check-in policy? -A: Please be informed that check-in time is at 15:00 by default. However, you are most welcome to arrive anytime after 11:00, drop your luggage first and start exploring the area while waiting for your room to be ready. If you need an early check in, we will try to accommodate you but we can’t promise due to villa availability - Q: What time is the Check-out policy? - A: Our check-out time is at 11:00 by default. Late check-out is subject to availability and involves extra charge. Please note that for any late check-out between 11:00 – 18:00; an additional charge of 50% of the Daily Villa Rate will apply. Any check-out after 18:00, will be charged at a full day's Daily Villa Rate. If you need to store your luggage after check-out time, you are welcome to do so. - Q: Could I have a butler or a personal Chef to cook, so I can dine in the villa? - A: Should you wish to dine in the villa, every villa comes with a personal butler catering to your needs. He or she can help you cook simple meals, be it non-complimentary breakfast / lunch/ or dinner, at total grocery cost + 50,000IDR per guest per meal as cover charge. Simply let your personal butler know a day in advance. He or she will help you purchase the freshest ingredients in the market and delight you with simple cooking. Should you wish to have a professional Chef or a professional catering, we have a trusted partner with high hospitality standards at your service, at an additional cost. Simply inquire with your butler a day before. We will be happy to help you arrange this service. Otherwise, our villa comes with a fully equipped kitchen at your disposal. Please refer to the kitchen amenities list to see what equipment is provided. We believe our kitchen will inspire the chef within you. - Q : Do you offer a floating breakfast? - A : We can arrange a floating breakfast at an additional cost of €25/ tray. Breakfast on each tray could be shared between four guests . You could place the order to onsite staff, by latest in the morning the day before. However, to make sure of the availability, please contact us immediately after your booking should you need this extra arrangement. - Q : Do we have a housekeeping service every day? - A : Yes, there will be a housekeeping service every day at your convenience. For the sake of respecting every guest's privacy, please kindly arrange with your butler should you wish your villa to be cleaned and at what time. - Q : Can we have extra clean towels? - A : You can get an extra towel as long as we have it available. - Q : What is the maximum occupancy for this villa? Can I have extra beds? - A : This villa is for 10 people, but the maximum capacity is for 12 people which means that the 11th and 12th person are counted as extra guests. The extra guest fee would be €20/night/person. We can provide two extra beds with mattresses should you have more than 10 people.
