Sibu Sibu means a Catabatic breeze blowing down off the land at night and into the morning. Sibu Sibu phrase comes from the east part of Indonesia, specifically a dialect of Ambon, Maluku. A holiday home built on a remote piece of land was designed to offer peace and quiet away from tourist areas. The property's design focuses on respecting the local landscape by blending seamlessly with its surroundings. The villa on a steep, sea-facing site was designed with main living spaces on a small flat area, stepping down through two levels to follow natural land contours. All rooms enjoy views of the sea and forest. The staff quarter and storage room with a lawn on top is situated below the living area and swimming pool, accessed by timber steps leading to the front foyer. The villa features a kitchen on the uppermost floor, with indoor and outdoor living areas a few steps below. The design maximizes transparency for panoramic views, using mirrors and mirrored glass strategically. Folding glass doors connect the living area to the terrace seamlessly. The swimming pool mirrors the sky onto the living area ceiling, enhancing connectivity. Additionally, the master bedroom provides views and leads to a mirrored hallway accessing four bedrooms with en-suites, situated below an upper-level concrete terrace forming their ceiling. The terrace provides a chilling area with sofa set, sunbeds and a full equipped concrete bar that has an ice maker, fridge, a barbecue grill and a sink with a small drinking water tap directly from a water galon. Our Villa stands on a 1000sqm land and the building is about 500sqm. The guests can access the whole property except the 2 rooms in the front of the property We have one staff that can be reached throughout the stay. Villa Sibu Sibu is located in Pecatu. This part of the island is uphill. The villa is still quite remote from the Main Street, surrounded by trees and far from noisy street. The nearest beach, Pantai Nunggalan, is just a 10-minute scooter or car ride away. Other beaches like Savaya, Karma Kandara, and Sundays Beach Club are approximately a 12-15 minute drive. Bingin is about a 15-minute drive, while Jimbaran is roughly 25 minutes away. We suggest downloading either the GRAB app or Gojek app for transportation needs, as they can also handle deliveries from convenience stores and restaurants. We would be delighted to assist you in renting a motorbike if you desire. Simply inform us of the number of days and motorbikes needed. Alternatively, we can also arrange for a car with or without a driver. Rent car's fee varies from having just the car for a few hours a day or monthly, and also the fee if you require a driver as well. Our villa is quiet remote and could be tricky to find.
