The Beachside Bungalow is located in East Flores, 29km away from Maumere. It lays in the garden of Happy Dive Retreat, close to the beach and has a direct sunset view. It is a spacious, well lit room, with a super king size bed, air conditioning and fan. The bathroom is large and spacious. There are a multitude of facilities around including a restaurant, bar, a small pool and a dive shop.
I am living in Happy Dive Retreat and will be available to answer questions and provide help.
The Bungalow lays in Happy Dive Retreat on the beach. The local people from the near by village, sometimes walk past by the beach. The locals are mostly farmers and the women weave the famous ikat at home. The village near by can be visited by guests. Most villagers don‘t speak English but are very friendly neighbours.
The public transport is a "bemo", a mini bus which collects all passengers anywhere on the road if flagged down. To go on a "bemo" is the best way to visit near by markets, the bat cave, arak processing or even the town. Chartered cars for trips and overland traveling can be organised. We have a folder with detailed information, ready for the guests to read, including all the interesting spots to visit and how to get there.
Price for double occupation includes breakfast, complimentary coffee, tea and water. Taxes are included as well.
