WELCOME TO VILLA BLUE STEPS ! An authentic and restored Javanese wooden Limasan house, now equipped with all modern facilities. Located just South-West of Yogyakarta on an elevated plot of land, it is overlooking about 100 hectares of rice paddies surrounded by green hills. The concept has been creating an original, private and luxurious place to stay with a unique personalized service, adjacent to our Blue Steps restaurant which offers a selection of delicious local and international dishes. The house is an original wooden house with a structure and front panels made of teak wood. Even though the house has been adapted to modern standards (insulation, new wooden floor, modern bathrooms, etc…, the original structure and wooden wall panels are still intact! It really makes a stay in Villa Blue Steps a truly Javanese experience! The house consist of a big 65 m2 room with a 2,5 x 2,5m modern four poster bed, sofa corner, minibar, TV, etc.. This big room has a unique view on the big terrace with private pool and on the rice paddies. A second room is smaller and has a double bed (can be 2 single beds on request) and has, besides a connecting door, also access to the front porch, garden and pool. Both rooms are air-conditioned and have a big open air bathroom. The surroundings offer many possibilities for nice walks or bicycle trips along the sawahs (rice paddies) and for a real contact with the local people! Besides we can offer tours or car rental to visit the highlights in and around Yogyakarta. Villa Blue Steps is a 20-25 minute drive from Yogyakarta’s international airport and a 10-15 minute drive from the city center.
