"MUKU" means "solid wood" in Japanese.
"ten" means "above the heavens" or on top of a wooden board in Japanese.
"舎" is a kanji design that represents good fortune residing within the home, and is pronounced "sha."
The silhouette of the kanji character for "舎" (sha) creates an auspicious design.
The slope of the gable roof matches the ridgeline of Mount Fuji, and domestic materials are used to create an interior space that evokes the silhouette of the kanji character for "舎" (sha).

「ten」は、日本語で「天上」や「板の上」を意味します。
「舎」という漢字は、家に幸運が宿ることを表し、「しゃ」と読みます。
「舎」の漢字のシルエットは、縁起の良いデザインを生み出します。切妻屋根の傾斜は富士山の稜線に合い、国内の素材を使って「舎」の漢字のシルエットを想起させる内装空間が作り出されています。
