A 5-minute drive from JR Fukui Train Station, Kawajin Ryokan provides traditional Japanese-style meals and accommodation. Guests sleep in futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor and share the ryokan’s bathrooms and toilets. Some rooms have free wired internet, and on-site parking is free. The simply furnished rooms at Ryokan Kawajin are air-conditioned and come with a mini-fridge. You can try on the Yukata robes, sit on the floor cushions at the Japanese seating area and watch the LCD TV. If you need a room with internet access, please request when you book. Ski Jam Katsuyama ski resort is a 50-minute drive away, and the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum is a 1-hour drive. There is a coin launderette on site. Luggage can be left at the front desk, which also offers fax and photocopying services. The set-menu Japanese breakfast and dinner are served at the dining room.
