Getting to Eagle House from Nearby Airports
Traveling to Eagle House, nestled in the heart of the Hakuba Happo-One Snow Resort, is a seamless experience thanks to its proximity to several major airports. The nearest airport is Matsumoto Airport (MMJ), located approximately 70 kilometers away. From the airport, you can opt for a direct shuttle bus service that runs regularly, providing a scenic journey through the Japanese countryside. The ride typically takes about 1.5 hours, and upon arrival, you'll be greeted by the stunning views of the snow-capped mountains that surround Hakuba. Alternatively, if you land at Nagano's Matsumoto Airport or Tokyo's Narita International Airport (NRT) or Haneda Airport (HND), you can take a train or bus to Nagano Station and then transfer to a local bus heading to Hakuba. The train ride from Tokyo to Nagano offers breathtaking landscapes and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once at Nagano Station, the bus to Hakuba takes approximately 1 hour.
