From Matsumoto Station (JR Chuo Line): Take a JR Oito Line train bound for Minami-Otari, and get off at Hakubaoike Station (about 90 minutes). Then take a Matsumoto Dentetsu bus bound for Tsugaike Kogen and get off at the Hakuba Oike bus stop. It is about 8 minutes on foot, or 1 minute by taxi from there.
By car: Exit the Chuo Expressway at Azumino IC and continue along Route 147, then 148 for about 90 minutes (60 km).
