A new accommodation in the form of a renovated townhouse opened in the spring of 2016, just 5 min on foot from Hikone Castle!
Located in the midst of a tranquil residential area so guests can experience everyday life in Japan, this townhouse is also near a temple, providing a permeating Japanese atmosphere. A microwave and refrigerator are available in the shared living space.
Deepen your connections with other travelers and local people while eating in the living space. *Kitchen cannot be used. Breakfast will be prepared by staff using local produce.
The 1st floor rooms are divided by sliding doors, and can be used as one large room when the doors are opened, making this accommodation great for groups. Lockers available for valuables.
The bath, bathrooms, and sinks are shared (not attached to guestrooms). 1 shower booth and 1 bathtub are available for use one at a time. Separate men's and women's bathrooms are on the 1st and 2nd floors. Sinks are located on the 1st and 2nd floor.

From Hikone Station (JR Biwako Line): 9 min by taxi at around JPY 600 (as of Feb. 2016); 20 min on foot. From the West Exit of the station, head straight onto the main road, turn left at Asahimachi Intersection, then right at Kyomachi-higashi Intersection, and head toward Hikone Castle. Pass in front of Taneya, turn left at Kyobashi Intersection and head to Yumekyobashi Castle Road. Turn right down the street between 'Hokkoriya' and the Ayu shop 'Kimura' and continue straight until finding the hotel on the lefthand side. The hotel is down a narrow street, so please look for Myoshoji Temple if it is difficult to locate.
By car: Exit the Meishin Expressway at Hikone IC and continue on Route 306. The hotel is near Hikone Josei Elementary School, next to Myoshoji Temple.,This townhouse operated by a non-profit organization is located in a quiet residential area. Please refrain from making noise at night.
