From Kagoshima Airport: about 60 minutes by taxi at around JPY 15,000, or about 60 minutes by bus at around JPY 1,390 (as of July 2014). By bus, take the highway bus to Hitoyoshi IC (about 60 min). From there it takes about 10 minutes by taxi.
From JR Hitoyoshi Station (Hisatsu Line): about 3 minutes on foot heading south.
By car: Exit the Kyushu Expressway at Hitoyoshi IC and continue along Prefectural Route 54 heading towards the JR Hitoyoshi Station (about 10 minutes from the IC).,,,,,,,,,,,,,
